When you join IFMA International, make sure you select Denver as your local chapter. Denver hosts luncheon learning events, tours, credential education and networking events; and provides the opportunity to build relationships with facility professional colleagues.
In addition to IFMA membership dues, the Denver Chapter dues are $355. As a member of the local chapter your dues include 1 ticket to:
Award winning Programs and Professional Development (seminar luncheons, facility tours. and locally hosted courses)
Social events (summer social, sporting event, Sponsorship appreciation, and holiday party)

IFMA membership will be US$219 per year for professionals and associates and US$139 for young professionals for International Membership, plus chapter dues of $355.
First-year IFMA members are required to join a component (local chapter, council or community). After the first year of membership, local chapter, council or community membership is optional. You may join more than one component.

Whether you are a facility manager, study or teach facility management, provide facility-related solutions, contribute to or have an interest in best workplace practices, you will find a place in the IFMA community.
IFMA membership is annual. Membership is renewed on the anniversary of the date your application was approved. Your option to renew each year is indefinite. We ask that membership applicants support the purpose, vision, mission, goals, core values and Code of Ethics of the association. Membership is individually based and is non-transferable and non-refundable.
FM Professional, Transitioning to an FM Career, Job Seeker, Other Workplace Professional
Open to facility practitioners and educators whose primary responsibilities are to provide, oversee or teach one (or more) facility management core competency. Please review the following core competencies and examples:
Communications: Technology, integration and knowledge management.
Finance: (with regard to real estate and facilities) Analyzing, accounting, forecasting, budgeting, tax auditing and controlling.
Human & Environmental Factors: Environmental, health and safety, workplace dynamics, teamwork, interpersonal behaviors and ergonomics.
Leadership & Management: Code compliance, telecommunications, purchasing, security, food service, reprographics, building services, transportation, furnishings and equipment inventory, maintenance and outsourcing management.
Operations & Maintenance: Physical plant, preventative maintenance, conservation and energy management systems.
Planning & Project Management: Strategic, tactical and annual facility planning; new construction and/or renovation; interior space planning and design; workplace specifications, installation and space management; and architecture and/or engineering projects.
Quality Assessment & Innovation: International standards organization, standards, facility audits and total quality management.
Real Estate: Acquisitions, financials, negotiations and/or disposal.
Technology: Development, implementation and maintenance of information technology systems.
Company Representative or Solutions Provider
Open to individuals whose primary responsibilities include: business development; sales and/or marketing as a consultant; representation of a manufacturer, vendor, dealer or distributor; and/or provider of facility-related products and services.
Young Professional Member
Open to IFMA members who are 35 years of age or younger.
Young Professional membership may not exceed five years.
Open to candidates who are engaged in full-time study at an accredited college or university. At such time as the member is no longer engaged in full-time study, he or she will be reclassified to the appropriate membership category.
Verification of full-time student status and expected graduation date is required.
Obtaining a group membership will strengthen and empower your entire workplace team. If your company/organization has 10 or more employees who support your workplace, consider the benefits of a bulk membership plan. Ensure that your team has access to informative, skill-building resources essential to maintaining sustainable, productive, safe and successful facilities. You will also receive $10 off the Denver Chapter dues of $355, for a total of $345/per member chapter dues.
In addition to a discounted rate for base membership, IFMA’s bulk membership plan offers the convenience of a single annual billing statement. “Bulk” is defined as 10 or more employees from the same company.
