Denver is committed to fostering a welcoming environment that continues to embrace diversity, equity, and inclusion. We’ll be better tomorrow than we are today.

IFMA Denver is dedicated to serving as a valuable resource and role model for facility managers and organizations by promoting effective diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) practices. We are committed to fostering a welcoming community that celebrates diversity, embraces inclusion, and ensures equity for all. We believe that our differences make us stronger, and by leveraging diverse perspectives, cultivating an inclusive culture, and providing equitable opportunities, we empower leaders and advance the facility management profession.

At IFMA, there is no tolerance for discrimination, harassment, insensitivity, inhumanity, or cruelty against any individual or group. From leadership and staff to our chapters, councils and communities, we actively foster a culture that values and respects the worth of every human being, and we are committed to ensuring that everyone who engages with IFMA feels represented, supported, included, heard, and cherished.

Research from Harvard University shows that diversity initiatives are most effective when awareness and inclusion are integrated into daily practices. Recognizing and respecting cultural and ethnic holidays is essential for thoughtful scheduling and creating an inclusive environment for both employees and members. To support this effort, we have compiled a list of multicultural observances below.
